Raymond E. Lang, age 63, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Villa Saint Francis, Olathe.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 3rd at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 West 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas. Cremation, inurnment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Lovnia, Michigan. A gathering of family and friends will be held 2:00 ? 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2nd at D. W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas.
Due to Ray?s love of animals the family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Animal Haven, 9800 West 67th Street, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
Ray was born February 9, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from high school and is a 20 year retiree from American Motors, was transferred to Kansas and went into the Health Care field.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Lola Lang; and his brothers, Johnny, Bobby, and Tommy Lang. Ray is survived by three sisters, Mary, Kathy, and Maxine; many nieces and nephews, and scores of friends.
