Rebecca Lynn (Becky) Worley, age 42, of Harrisonville, MO passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 12 noon to 2 pm with services following at 2 pm at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Interment will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Becky’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, March of Dimes, National Breast Cancer Foundation, or Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
Becky was born on July 2, 1972 in Kansas City, MO. She was employed with medical billing since 1995 and had just completed her Certified Coders test to become a coder. Becky was also a first time grandma.
She was preceded in death by her 3 grandmothers, 3 grandfathers and 3 uncles. Survivors include her husband Greg of 22 years, daughter Monika, son Michael, granddaughter Haidon, son-in-law Clayton, parents Connie and Gary Smith, sister Karla Hite and husband Mark Hite, mother and father-in-law Gail and Floyd Worley, brother-in-law Gary Worley and sister-in-law Dana Worley. She is also survived by 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 1 great niece and great nephew and Grandmother Dwyer.
Becky would have preferred casual attire for her services. Flip flops included!
