RICHARD LEE BRIDGES
Richard Lee Bridges, 54, passed away Feb. 12, 2012, at Olathe Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 21, 1957 in Tulsa, OK. Rick graduated high school from Shawnee Mission East and furthered his education by completing his Associates Degree at JCCC. He was a state champion in competition BBQ and was a member of the Kansas City BBQ Society. Rick cherished his relationships with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William S. and Norma Lou Bridges and sister Betsy Bridges. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Carolyn Ruggles (Brent and their son Grayson), Amy Bridges and Andrea Bridges; their mother, Linda Bridges; and his brother, William Bridges and family.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm Wednesday, February 15 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Lifestream Christian Church, P.O. Box 96 Gardner, KS 66030.
