Richard (Dick) Fieger, 75, of Overland Park, KS, peacefully entered into the arms of the Lord and was reunited with his “darling” Kay on April 14, 2011. Born April 6, 1936 to Louis and Edith Fieger; Dick grew up in Topeka, KS where he met Kay in the first grade. Their friendship grew into a love affair that lasted a lifetime; they had just celebrated 55 years of marriage in December. He was a fantastic husband, father, and provider for his family. He is survived by his four children Michele, Lisa, Rich, and Stephanie Jo; and eight grandchildren Barrett, Lauren, Heather, Zach, Bailey, Garrick, Gabriel, and Grace. Dick had a passion for business; he enjoyed a successful career in the printing industry which led him to his dream life in California where he started his own company. He and Kay spent time enjoying Coronado, ocean sunsets, and the beach until they moved home to KC three years ago. Dick spent his last days surrounded by his children laughing and reminiscing about the joys in their lives. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel at 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210 – 913-451-1860. A visitation will be held from 2:30 – 3pm.
