Richard Alan Gwynne, age 69, of Leawood, KS passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Menorah Medical Center following a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 14th at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be 2-3:00 P.M. Thursday at the chapel prior to the service.
Ric was born on May 29, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Gladys Gwynne. Survivors include his long-time companion/ fiancée, Susan C. Cowden; his son, Rick A. Gwynne II; his brother, Jay M. Gwynne and his wife Ursula; and his grandson, Zachary Gwynne.
