RICHARD C. SMITH
Richard C. Smith was born in Hereford, Texas on June 15, 1942, the only son of Lucille and Frank Smith.  Richard is survived by his wife Joan Berryman Smith and sons Ronald M. Smith and R. David Smith.  Richard and Joan were united in marriage on August 29, 1963.  They made their home in Shawnee, Kansas.  Richard attended Texas A&M from 1959-1963, receiving a degree in Engineering.  Richard was a refueling captain in the Air Force and a tanker during the Vietnam war from 1964-1968.  He worked at Collins Radio in Plano, Texas from 1968-1972.  Richard also worked at Bendix, Allied Signal, Burns-McDonnell, and Honeywell, working in facilities with friends and co-workers for over 30 years.  Upon retirement, Richard enjoyed his family, Harley Davidson and his riding mower.  He always enjoyed his life, no matter what.  Richard will surely be missed by all.  He is a true Aggie gentleman, loving father and an almost faultless husband.  Love to us all who will miss him, Joan Smith and Sons.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
