Mr. Robert Cline

Robert P. Cline, 87, of Lenexa, passed away on March 16, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011, at D. W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Family Services, 10500 Barkley St # 216, Overland Park, KS 66212. Bob was born on February 11, 1924, in Dekalb County, MO, to Gladys Pauline (Beckwith) and Robert Perrin Cline. Bob was raised on a farm near Maysville, MO. He worked as a service manager for area Ford dealers, which included Schlozman Ford, for over 40 years. Bob was also a proud long time member of the Overland Park Church of Christ. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary of 63 years of Lenexa; son, Rick (LouAnn) Cline of Wichita; daughter, Debbie (Alan) Miller of Overland Park; sister, Helen Matter; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
