Robert James Crossley
Robert James Crossley, Lane, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2014. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Tana Lynn Crossley, and his son, Curtis Scott Crossley. He is survived by his son’s; Clinton and Krista and their children Taylor, Jack, Olivia, and Isabella and, Kyle and his children Brianna and Lilian. He is survived by his best friend and long time companion, Lois Herr as well as her children and grandchildren, who he loved like his own.
Robert was born in Minnesota, but was relocated by the Navy to protect those in Olathe, Kansas. Soon after, he began his career in sales. To the end, he continued to work at Hockenbergs calling on his customers, who were also his closest friends.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Private family interment will follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114.
