Robert Cunningham

Robert Cunningham, 87, Leawood, passed away January 29, 2008. Mr. Robert Cunningham was born in Buffalo, NY and educated at Canisius College. He joined the Army Air Corp, serving in Italy during WWII. Robert was decorated with the Distinguished Fighting Cross and Air Metal. Mr. Cunningham retired after 45 years from Percy Kent Bag Co as Executive VP and member of the Board of Directors. He loved the game of golf and was a member of Brookridge Country Club for 36 years, where he served on the Board.
Robert was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Ruth M and daughter Martha. He is survived by his daughters, Carol Coughlin and Sheila Breed; sons, Paul Cunningham and Bob Cunningham; grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer and great granddaughter, Natalie.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 from 6-8pm with Rosary recitation at 7:30pm at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10am at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd. Leawood, KS. Burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
