Robert G. Endres passed away in his home on June 14, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Joann Elizabeth Jenkins Endres; and a half brother, George Endres Jr. He is survived by his son, Grey, who lives in Lenexa, Kan., with his wife of 19 years, Tammy, and their three sons, Ryan, Hunter, and Ian.
Bob was a retired commercial interior designer, and a very active member in the metropolitan area arts community. He was actively involved in the Prairie Village Arts Council, Arts Council of Johnson County, The Nelson Art Gallery Fellows, Johnson County Park and Recreation Art Fest Exhibition, and was the chairman emeritus of the Shooting Stars program. He was a member of St. Ann's Parish in Prairie Village, Kan., and Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, Epsilon Chapter. He was born in Wichita, Kan., and was a graduate of Wichita East High school and of the University of Kansas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Newcomers at 112th and Metcalf with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, at St. Ann's Parish, 7231 Mission Road.
