Robert Hess

Robert E. Hess of Overland Park KS, passed away August 21, 2015 at home at Park Meadows Memory Care with family at his side.  Survivors include his brothers, Bill Hess and Jim Hess; daughters, Lisa Hanson, Becky Martin (Kevin), and Pam Hess; grandchildren; Patrick Hanson, Kathryn Martin, Mallory Martin and Charlie Martin.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife Anne Hess.  He also leaves behind the wonderful loving staff at Park Meadows Memory Care.  Bob was an avid KU fan and alumni; also a proud engineer and business owner.  He was Mr. Fantastic to many and always a generous, positive and supportive, loving father and friend that was always willing to lend a hand. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 23rd at 1:30 pm at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Ave. with a reception immediately following.  Cremation will take place and a private family inurnment will take place in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church in Bob’s name.
