Robert ?Dale? House, 79, Leawood, Kansas passed away April 29, 2007 at Villa St. Joseph. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas 66210.
Dale was born May 8, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a graduate of East High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He received a Business degree at Central Missouri State University. In 1945 Dale was inducted into the Army and was stationed at Westpoint. He worked for Pepsi Cola General Bottlers in Kansas City and then Chicago where he retired. In 1952 he married Glenna Durand and had three children. Family was very important to Dale.
He was preceded in death by his son Robert D. House, II; his parents; sisters; and brother.
He is survived by his wife Glenna; daughters, Michelle McDowell and Janet Voss; son-in-laws, Doug McDowell and Bob Voss; grandchildren, Kristin Wilson, Kendra McDowell, Matthew McDowell, and Kara Voss; great-grandchildren Maddy, Ella, and Noah Wilson.
