Robert Glen Humphrey, 66, of Overland Park, KS, passed away May 18, 2017 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Robert was born Sept. 11, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dorothy Humphrey. He was a graduate of Westport High School. He worked at Marley Cooling Company for 42 years beginning in the Copy Area and was promoted over the years to many areas until he became the Systems Administrator. After retiring from Marley, he began working part-time at Hy-Vee in the Customer Service department where he loved to help the customers and talk to people.
Robert enjoyed flying model airplanes at the park in his earlier years and was an avid bowler, bowling for many years in leagues with friends and family. He loved watching the KC Royals/Chiefs play…win or lose, they were his teams. One of his hobbies was working on and fixing computers. He liked to go to the casino to play blackjack and eat crab legs. One of his loves was that of his Bijon dog, Charley. They were the best of friends and went everywhere together.

Robert is survived by his wife, Regina Humphrey; his daughter, Carolyn Delaney and husband Mike; a son, Steven Humphrey and wife Katherine; Step-daughter, Amanda Sebok and husband,
Andrew; Step-son, Bryan Day and Mother-in-Law, Nadine Nails; Grandchildren: Chelsea, Chance, Olivia, Clara, Elise, Tyler, Ian, Kyle, Hunter, Caden, Kylea and Papa to Brooks.
