Mr. Robert Klein

Robert "Bob" Klein, 62, Roeland Park, Kansas, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A celebration of Bob's life will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4th at D. W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. A gathering of Bob's family and friends will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Bob, to the American Cancer Society.
Bob was born in South Gate, California, and had lived in the Kansas City area for 40 years. He worked in the telephone business industry his whole life and had worked for Southwestern Bell for 10 years.. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW. bob is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Jeffrey Edwards of Lone Jack, MO, and Christopher Edwards of Shawnee, KS; daughters, Tamara McClure of Hemet, CA, Julie collins of Raymore, MO, and Riki Lassiter of Blue Spriings, MO; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. fond memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.dwnewcomers.com.
