Robert Lee Quick, Sr., 77, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Kansas City VA Hospital.
Robert was born February 1, 1936, in Kansas City, KS, to Vernie and Leona Quick.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee Quick, Jr.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances Quick; six children, David Quick, Yvonne (Norman) Rash, Kathy (Brett) Williams, Lela (Arvin) Barrett, Mark Quick and Violet (Mike) Baxter; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a very large extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Interment will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
