Robert “Bob” Paul Wahlstedt, age 85, formerly of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on March 21, 2016 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Bob was born March 22, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late John and Grace Wahlstedt and had one sister, the late Betty Wahlstedt. Bob was married 34 years to Darlene Carlson Wahlstedt. He served as a captain in the US Marine Corps and was a graduate of Colorado University with a BS in engineering and Business. Bob was a member of Rotary for 15 years and was a Mason and Shriner. He was a retired computer software consultant, owning his own business. He enjoyed tennis and travel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Wahlstedt.
Bob is survived by his children Wendy Wahlstedt, Amy Larkin, Linda Carlson, and Clay Carlson.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park.
