Robert "Mack" Walton, age 91, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on October 23, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS beginning at 10 am with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Antioch Pioneer Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 9221 Ward Parkway Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Mack was born February 5, 1922 in Detroit, MI. He had three Masters Degrees from Wayne State University and was a math teacher in Detroit, MI. He loved to travel and had been in every state except Alaska. Mack loved his family and friends. He enjoyed new cars including his "red Cadillac". Mack was a gentle kind man with a heart of gold.
Mack was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife, Edith M. Walton "Margie" and brother, Dean Edward Walton.
Survivors include sister, Frances Dubuque of Royal Oak, MI and her sons Dean Edward and Gerald Edward both of Royal Oak, MI.
