Robin Dowd

Robin Bruce Dowd, 67, passed away December 20, 2016.  He was born June 17, 1949 in Monterey Park, CA, the son of Claude Orville and Ruby Viele (Youngblood) Dowd.  He graduated from Monrovia High School, Monrovia, CA in 1967.  He worked at Toyota for over 25 years as a master technician. He loved race cars, working on cars, fishing and traveling.  Robin Bruce married Robin Ann September 9, 1989 in Overland Park, KS.  Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife Robin Shannon Dowd.  Survivors include his children, Shannon Webb (Chris), of the home, grand-daughters: Kylie Henry, Brianna and Katelynn Webb.  Pleasant Hill, MO, Chris Dowd, Arizona, grandsons Cole and Liam Dowd, Nathan Short - California, grandson Andrew Short, Kamra Keeth (Matt) – Granddaughters: Madeline, Mary, Maggie and Mattea, Kara Escobedo (Steven) – Children:  Jonas Bauer, Edith Giavannah Escobedo, Kristian Kash Escobedo and Giovanni Mikael Escobedo, Honorary “Parents”, Donnie and Bonnie Hickson, his brothers, Don Dowd, Arcadia CA, Dan Dowd, Victorville, CA, Kevin Dowd (Roxane) Shalimar, FL and Father and Mother in law, Ron and Barbara Goodwin Lenexa, KS. Visitation will be Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 6-7 PM with a memorial service following at 7 PM.  Contributions are suggested to The American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
