Roger Anderson

Roger C. Anderson, of Lawrence, KS passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He was born on February 9, 1936 in Lincoln, NE to Charles I. and Ethel M. (Monk) Anderson.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Denver, Roger held various positions at The University of Kansas Libraries for 57 years, retiring in 2020.

He is survived by sons Torrence Anderson (Elizabeth) and Benjamin Anderson (Jennifer), and grandchildren, John, Evan, Conner, and Eleanor.

Graveside ceremony 3pm Friday, May 13, 2022 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Rogers name to the Lawrence Humane Society .
