Roger (Leo F. III) Brady, 74, of Prairie Village, KS passed away April 23, 2020 at his home. He was born July 26, 1945 to Leo Frederick Brady, Jr. and Cynthia Brady. He grew up in Prairie Village, KS and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School. Roger spent his life working in the restaurant and hospitality industry where he was a mentor and beloved friend to coworkers and patrons. His early years were in the KC restaurant scene where he was part of the opening crew of many 70s and 80s hot spots including The Magic Pan, Bristol Bar and Grille, and Costello’s Green House. He later moved to Phoenix, AZ where he proudly worked at the prestigious Royal Palms Resort. Most recently he returned to Prairie Village, KS and was the first friendly face you would see at BRGR in Corinth Square. Always the consummate professional, he was loved by coworkers and customers alike. His most treasured role in life was dog dad to Max and Simon. Roger is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Michael Brady; friend Charles Johnston. Roger leaves behind a brother, Steve Brady (Cindy); a sister in-law, Dianne Brady; nieces Jenna Joplin (John), Laura Welker (Clint); nephews Ryan Brady (Libby), Evan Brady, Matt Brady, Kyle Brady; 6 great nephews and one great niece; life-long best friends Jan and Leo Griffin, Adam and Kelly; Jodi Johnston and many, many dear friends.
