Ronald N. Parker, age 70, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. He was born on April 23, 1941 in Lockwood, MO, the son of Mary B. (Garrison) Walter D. Parker.
Ron was a truly loyal, reliable and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He always demonstrated a quiet integrity and a deep commitment to those he loved. His loved ones will always remember his sense of humor, love for family and travel.
He will always be missed by his wife, Shirley, of the home; daughters, Carri Gill (Greg) of Overland Park, KS, Teri Moszyk (Paul) of Overland Park, KS and Cindy Herman (Joe) of Prairie Village, KS; son, Scott Woolery of St. Charles, MO; 6 grandchildren; brother, Doug Parker (Cindy) of Mission, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday evening. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Donnelly College, 608 N 18th St, KC, KS 66102 or to Animal Haven (Heartland SPCA) 9800 W. 67th St, Merriam, KS 66203.
