Ronald Richards

Ronald B. Richards, 75, Overland Park, KS, passed away Saturday, April, 30, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer.  He was born May 11, 1940 in Sacramento, CA, the son of Sheridan P. and Helen R. (Benedetti) Richards. Ronald grew up in Sutter Creek.  He married Susan E. (McTigue) Richards in 1965 and they resided in San Jose, CA until 1982.  He worked for General Motors 26 years and retired in 1987 in Overland Park.  He loved to fish, hunt and was a sports fanatic.   Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Susan E. Richards: his children; Michelle Williams, Bill Richards (Lauren), Suzanne Eckart (Mark) and his grandchildren, Jacob and Maggie Eckart.  There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM, Thursday, May 5 at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
