Ronnie N. Hilt, 65, of Overland Park, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home.
He was born on October 20, 1948 to Bessie (Green) Hilt-Ewalt and Charles Hilt in Kansas City, Missouri. Ronnie grew up in Kansas City, Kansas.
On February 3, 1967 he married Zella Jensen in Johnson County. After marriage they made their home in Johnson County.
Ronnie worked for Quality Wood Products for over 30 years and later worked for Acme Floor Company for 8 years. He was a true handy man, helping others out whenever possible.
He enjoyed working on hot rods and continuously remodeling his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Neva Mae Moore.
He is survived by his wife Zella Hilt; two daughters, Lisa Hilt, Lori Hilt; two sisters, Bonnie Hilt, Connie Cardelli; three brothers, Delbert Hilt, Robert Hilt, Randy Hilt; many nieces and nephews and his beloved "grand" dogs.
Visitation will be at 1 PM on Friday, December 20, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Graveside service will follow at 2 PM on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
