Rosemary was born August 3, 1923 in the Bronx, NY. She graduated from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, NY and attended Hofstra College in Hempstead, NY. Prior to starting a family she worked as a comparison shopper for Macy?s in New York City and as an executive secretary for Sperry Rand Corporation during World War II. From 1956 through 1984, she lived in Greenlawn, NY with her husband and children where she was an active member of the Elwood School District PTA, a Cub Scout Denmother, and a foreign exchange student host. From 1984 until her death, she lived in Overland Park, KS. She took pleasure in gardening in her backyard. She was a lover of the arts and enjoyed traveling overseas with her husband during their retirement.
Most of all, her main focus was always her family. From the oldest child to the youngest grandchild, her love was unconditional, unfailing and selfless. Even in sickness, she always focused on the needs of others rather than herself. Her support and encouragement were a constant. She will be loved and missed completely, forever.
