Mrs. Rosemary McNeill

Rosemary McNeill, 80, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Rosemary was born November 23, 1931 in Erie, KS to Paul and Louise (Gallagher) Lowe. She spent her formative years in Chanute, KS. Rosemary married Bill McNeill, from Frontneac, KS, in 1949 and moved to Kansas City, where they raised their two children. Rosemary worked for the Kansas City Eye Clinic in Overland Park for over 30 years.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William D. McNeill, her two children, William Kent (Susan) McNeill of DeSoto, KS, and Marsha (Louis) Prater of Shawnee, KS, three grandchildren, Chad Prater (Nikki) , Amy Prater, of Shawnee, and Emily McNeill of Overland Park, and two great-grandchildren, Lynzie and Cody Prater of Shawnee.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7th, 1:15-2:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel. Entombment will follow the service. The family will receive guests for refreshment and fellowship following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 9233 Ward Pkwy # 201, Kansas City, MO 64114.
