Rozanne (Aunt Pody) Hundley, 78, passed away February 7, 2009 in Lenexa, KS.
Rozanne was born September 17, 1930, to Verta and Joseph Leslie in Kansas City, KS. She grew up in KCK where she met and married Richard A. Hundley, her husband of 58 years prior to his death in 2004. They moved to California where most family members currently reside. Rozanne & Richard retired to KCK in 1994. She touched the hearts of those who cared for her at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa where they helped her niece/nephew Robin & Ed Walsh care for her during the past 6 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Mickey Flaherty. Survivors include: sister Betty (Ed) Walsh, KS; daughter Linda (Jim) King, sons Wyatt (Mary) Hundley and Rick (Mae) Hundley. Seven Grandchildren Michelle, Jeanie (Pete), Christi (Tormod), Tom, Ryan, Andy (Julie), Luke (Julia), eleven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 am, Saturday, February 14 at DW Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday at the chapel.
