Ruby M. Edsall, 91, of Kansas City, Mo, passed away on Dec. 2, 2012. She was born in Oneida, KS to Oliver and Effie Rockey on September 18, 1921. She grew up in Robinson, KS before moving to Kansas City, MO and marrying her husband Ray Edsall in 1946. Together they lived in Overland Park and she worked as a secretary for Carthage Marble Corp. She was a member of Red Bridge United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi, loved to read and spoiled her grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and sisters; husband, Ray and her oldest son, Brian.
Ruby is survived by her son, Dennis Edsall; three grandchildren, Peter, Andrew and Abby Edsall; two brothers, Rudolph and Richard Rockey of Atchison, KS and sister Rose Howard of Hiawatha, KS.
Graveside services and Interment will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210
