Rudy Solovic

Rudy Solovic went to heaven one day after his birthday December 17, 2017.  He was born December 16, 1924.  Rudy proudly served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and retired as Private First Class.  He became an Air Traffic Controller and retired as such. Rudy loved archery, turkey calling, fishing and golfing.

Rudy was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Blanche Solovic on November 23, 2013. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; also by all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his only son, Larry Solovic; granddaughters, Jenn Piatt and Christy Evans and 5 great-grandchildren. A graveside will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 3rd at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
