RUSSELL (RUSS) TRIMBLE SR.

TRIMBLE. SR. Russell Lee (Russ) Trimble, Sr., 68, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House after a short, intense battle with cancer. A memorial service will be at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, September 5, 2010 at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, Kansas 66224. A visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., also in the Wesley Chapel. Russ was born December 3, 1941 in Rochester, New York. He earned an MBA at Wayne State University, a MSEE/Biomedical Eng., at Ohio State University, a BSEE at Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a Reg. Prof. Engineer; a Certified Clinical Engineer; and held several patents and licenses for medical production development and nuclear med. Innovations. He was an Engineering Manager for Design and Construction Management at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Edwards and KU-Med campuses. Russ was preceded in death by his father, Luther Trimble; mother Beulah Trimble; sister, Wanda Mahoney; and sister-in-law, Vicky Trimble. Survivors include his wife, Anne Dutcher Trimble; three sons, Christopher P. Trimble M.D., (Cindy), Russell L. Trimble (Rusty) Jr. (Alison), and Mitchell J. Trimble; brother, Harris J. Trimble; 4 grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob Trimble, Russell L (Trey) III and Sophia Trimble; several nieces and nephews; sister- in-law, Nancy Dutcher (Gary Kempf); brother-in-law, Paul Dutcher M.D., (Susan).
