Ruth Beckert, born on December 13, 1921, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the age of 88 years old. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 25th from 1-2:30 pm at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband William F. Beckert and son John J. Beckert. She is survived by her sons, William J. Beckert & spouse Mary J. Beckert of Overland Park, KS, Robert F. Beckert & spouse Sandra L. Beckert of Eden, N.C. & daughter-in-law Virginia L. Beckert of Turnersville, N.J. Grandchildren; Audrey Beckert , Joyce Beckert, Amanda Thurman, Robert W. Beckert, Aileen M. Parsons, Jennifer M. Cowan & Eric R. Funk. Great Grandchildren; Joshua Thurman, Jacob Thurman & Gabrielle R. Cowan.
