Ruth M. Kilcoyne, 87, of Raymore, MO, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Foxwood Spring Assisted Living.
Ruth was born on August 16, 1926 to Thomas and Maggie (Nipper) Langford in Moorehaven, FL. She grew up and attended schools in Moorehaven.
She joined the United States Navy in 1944, and served in World War II. She met her husband James Kilcoyne while serving in the Navy
.
She enjoyed being active, and collecting dolls.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Kilcoyne, her parents, and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son Jack Kilcoyne; one granddaughter, Christy (Eric) Hoehn; one grandson Eric (Alyson) Kilcoyne; one sister, Louise Johns, and one brother Randall Longford.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Entombment will be at Johnson County Memorial Garden's Indoor Mausoleum.
