Sandra "Sandy" N. Curry, 76, of Raymore, MO, passed away on August 15, 2013.
Sandy was born February 9, 1937 in Harrisburg, PA to Charles and Irma Myers.
She has been a resident of the Kansas City Metropolitan area since 1958. Sandy was a single, hardworking, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a fastidious work ethic. Her family was always the motivation for her life's work.
Sandy leaves behind her three children, Kenneth Eugene (Jane) Curry of Raymore, MO, Marie Anne (Ronnie) Cain of Raymore, MO, and Mark Jeffery (Angie) Curry of Kansas City, KS, six grandchildren, David , Dennis (Sara), Katie, and Daniel Curry, and Brittany Stark, and Tristan Cain, and two great-grandchildren, Preston and Lilly Curry.
Visitation will be on Tues., Aug 20th, 6-8 PM, and a Funeral Service will be held on Wed., Aug. 21st, 10:00 AM, both at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Interment will follow at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
