Sandra Navarre

Sandra E Navarre, 75, Shawnee, KS passed away suddenly Sunday August 22, 2021 at Advent Health. Sandy was born in New Hope, MO to Lee William Emerick and Caroline Rose (Kaiser) Emerick on February 26, 1946.  She graduated from Elsberry High School in Elsberry, MO.   She worked for Wal Mart for 18 years and retired as a department manager.  One friend even said “Sandy was a wonderful person and a great friend.   She was a present to my life. She was a very caring mom to me and best friend all rolled up in one.”   Sandy enjoyed working puzzles, painting by numbers on the computer and like spending time with a good book.   Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Mary Coomer, Louise Maupin and Lucile Maupin; Brothers: Charlie Emerick and Lee Emerick, Jr.  She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Cox (Jesse) and a brother-in-law, Bill Coomer.  A funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave.  Burial will follow the service in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
