Sara E. Krueger

Sara Ellen (Brady) Krueger, 100, Overland Park, KS, died December 19, 2017.

Sara was born March 19, 1917 in Monte Vista, Colorado and grew up there, later moving to Kansas City, and then to Overland Park where she lived for 70 years. She married Carl Krueger in 1939. She and Carl were long time members of The Village Presbyterian Church. She worked for the Isle Knit-Rite Company as an office manager and for the Shawnee Mission School District as a substitute school secretary. She enjoyed traveling and playing golf with Carl as members at Lake Quivira. She played bridge regularly with church friends and enjoyed her PEO sisters.

She is survived by her son, John (Barb); two grandchildren, Kristen (Madhuresh) Kumar, Kyle (Natalie) Krueger; as well as four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Josslyn, and William Krueger, and Kamryn Kumar, all of whom she was so proud. She was able to participate in all their lives to the day she died.

The family would like to thank the people of Delmar Gardens of Overland Park and Kindred Hospice for their loving care.

Inurnment with a private family service will be held at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Village Presbyterian church at 3:00pm on March 12, 2018.
