They had a loving marriage that lasted for 67 years until Clyde passed away in 2008. She and Clyde were long-time Christian Scientists; both belonged to 7th Church of Christ, Scientist on the Country Club Plaza and later helped to found a Christian Science branch in McLean, VA where they both served as First Reader.
