Scott Scorse
August 18, 1972 — December 17, 2015
Scott Edward Scorse, 43, peacefully passed away December 17, 2015 after complications from illnesses he had been fighting for some time.
Scott was a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; his optimism and hope for the future was contagious and one of his greatest gifts. Scott’s absence has already left a remarkable void in the lives of his loved ones. He is now free from illness and pain and continuing on in his heavenly home.
Scott's father, Jerald Scorse was awaiting his son with open arms, since he preceded his son in death on November 30, 2015.
Scott leaves behind his loyal wife, Alisa, and six incredible and valiant children: Jacob, Kyle, Jared, Karly, Dallin and Kellen who brought him light and joy. The pride Scott had in his family will fill the heavens and echo through the eternities.
Services will be held to honor Scott’s life on Monday January 4th, 2016 at 11:00a.m., held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints meetinghouse on 13025 Wornall Road, Kansas City Missouri 64145. To help the Scorse family remember the life of Scott, please come prepared with a memory you have that will go into a book for his children.
