Shellee Mosher

Overland Park, Kansas

Shellee Willden Mosher, born August 1, 1960, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed  away March 4, 2021, at the age of 60.

Shellee was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada, where she attended school, including two years at  UNLV. She was a loyal, enthusiastic McDonald’s employee for many years, where she met her husband of over 40 years, Scott Mosher.

Scott and Shellee were eventually transferred to Olathe, Kansas, where Shellee opened an in-home  daycare, successfully loving her clients’ children for a number of years.

Shellee was very active in the LDS church, which she loved, holding many responsible positions. She  loved giving service to anyone and everyone, and was loved by all.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis L. Willden, and her son Michael Mosher, and will be  greatly missed by her husband Scott, son Jordan, daughter Karalee, daughters-in-law Corinne and  Mindy, granddaughters Tyler, Rilee, Regan, Reese, Harlem, her stepchildren Scott and Jennifer, mother,  ArCola, her brother, sisters, and many friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 13, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the LDS chapel on 21515 W.  101st, in Lenexa, Kansas. The funeral service will be from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. Gravesite will be at Johnson  County Funeral Chapel Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas, at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests honoring Shellee’s legacy by contributing to the Mike Mosher Memorial Foundation, administered by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. The Mike Mosher Memorial Foundation was created after the death of Shellee’s son, Overland Park Police Officer Mike Mosher who was killed on May 3rd, 2020 during a shootout with a violent criminal. Mike's Foundation continues his legacy of public service by supporting his favorite charitable organizations.
