Sherry White

herry was born April 18, 1962, in Kansas City, MO to Charles (Tom) and Dorothy White. She resided in Overland Park Kansas throughout her life. After high school Sherry attended The University of Kansas, where she was a sorority sister and graduated 1983.

In her years of life, Sherry enjoyed working with benevolent functions with Thrivent Lutheran, Habitat for Humanity, and the Chiefs.  Sherry worked in Retail Sales then retired in 2019.

She enjoyed crafts and was very good with art and flowers. Sherry could bring a smile to anyone’s face. She created comedy on the spot, bringing laughter to the eyes of others, a true gift of hers, that she gave freely to unsuspecting others.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy White.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Pickett of Desoto, Kansas and Judy White of Lenexa, Kansas.  She also leaves a niece, Julie Pickett Wright and nephew, Michael Pickett both of Osawatomie.
