Mrs. Shirley Gragg

Shirley O. Gragg, 84, of Independence, Mo., passed away October 31, 2009. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 6, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. Shirley was born May 23, 1925, in Kansas City, Kan., to Juanita and Roy O'Haro. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy and husband Bob. Shirley was a kind and loving lady; she was giving and generous and had a big smile for everyone. She is missed very much. Shirley is survived by her daughter Catherine; three grandsons, Jessie, Jay and David, and five great grandchildren who all loved her very much and called her "Gigi". She had many friends, including the lunch bunch and her best friend Brenda. Shirley was a former Kansas City Chiefs Red Coater and at one time worked for The Boy Scouts. She loved to dance and is now dancing with Jesus. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kansas City Hospice House or American Cancer Society .
