Sidney Albert Miller, Jr. (Spider), 78, Prairie Village, KS, passed away on July 4, 2017 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House.  Sid was born December 12, 1938 in Mobile, Alabama to Sidney and Olive Miller and eventually moved from Mobile, Alabama to Corpus Christi, TX where he met and married Johnnie Kay.  They had both daughters in Corpus Christi.  Sidney was honored to be in the Marine Reserves.  Upon graduation from Texas A&I he began a lifelong career in retail management.  This career took him and his family across 10 states collecting many friends along the way.  Sidney and Johnnie Kay continued to nurture those friendships despite their many moves.  In 2006 they were so excited to return to the Kansas City area.  He became the #1 S.M.E. fan for his grandchildren’s many activities.  Sidney was a family man, a loyal friend, a devoted Christian and an all-around GREAT man whose laugh has been heard around the world.  What more can be said about a man who brought so much joy to his family and friends?  Just two things:  We love you and you will be missed by many!
