On Monday September 26, 2022, Steven P. Basham, son of Paul and Diane Basham, passed peacefully at his family home in Overland Park, KS. He was 56 and lived a full life filled with wonderful friendships and lots of love. He resided in the Springfield-Branson, MO region, where he built his Diamond Interiors remodeling business, worked for the local fire department, assisted multiple racing teams, and cultivated many friendships.
He made friends everywhere he went, whether it was upgrading a customer’s bathroom, participating in rodeos, working on race care engines, responding to emergency calls, or swing dancing the night away. He had lots of energy and an abundance of kindness that he used to embrace life to the fullest. “Someday I hope you get the chance to live like you were dying”-Tim McGraw
He is survived by his mother Diane Basham, his younger sisters Cynthia Basham Crenshaw (Todd) and Sherri Basham Campbell (Rick), and his nephews Aaron (Hannah) and Ian Veselic.
