Susan A. Lovell, age 48, of Overland Park, KS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was born on December 29, 1962, in Greenville, TX, the daughter of Kay (Baird) and Sam Lovell.
Susan was a member of the Overland Park Church of Christ, where she diligently served as a ministry assistant. Susan had a deep love for people and for serving the Lord. Susan loved the theatre, going to shows, traveling and loved to read.
Survivors include her father and mother, Sam and Kay Lovell, of Overland Park, KS; sister, Mindy Lisa and her husband, Don of Pickerington, Ohio; nephew, Michael Lisa and niece Emily Lisa. She also leaves behind many close friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 A.M. at the Overland Park Church of Christ, 13400 W. 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66213. A visitation will be held from 4:30-6:30 P.M. Wednesday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Overland Park Church of Christ Audio Visual/Worship Fund at OPCFC. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
