Susan Hopkins McCormick, 65, passed away May 21, 2011 in Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M., on May 25, 2011, at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave. Funeral services will be held from 11:00-12:00 P.M. at the same location. Burial will proceed the services at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9500 W. 159th Street, Stanley, Kansas.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Robert McCormick; three sons, Tate McCormick and wife Heidi, Sioux Falls, SD; Mark McCormick and wife Alethea, Marblehead, MA; John McCormick, Overland Park, KS; a daughter, Erin McCormick and husband Cole, Manhattan, KS; six grandchildren, Lucy, Alexa, Madeline, Colby, Jonah, and Jackson.
