Teresa Russo, passed away in her home, Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Teresa was born in New York City on December 4, 1919, and spent her early childhood in Italy.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Peter, and daughter Catherine. She is survived by her sister Sadie, grandchildren Theresa, Annamarie, Lisa, Jennifer, Peter and John and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Teresa was a beloved sister, grandmother, aunt and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer Son’s Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Entombment will take place in Staten Island, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Susan G.
