Thelma L. “Bobby” Butler, 96, Lenexa Kansas passed away Monday June 29, 2015 at Lakeview Village. A visitation will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 from 10:00-11:00am at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In memory of Thelma, memorial contributions may be given to Lakeview Village. Thelma was born in Kansas City MO and grew up in the Rosedale area which she was very proud of. Thelma worked from the age of 12 until she retired at the age of 86 from Hy-Vee after working for them for 15 years. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Windle in 1976, one sister, Elizabeth and two brothers, Bud and Ralph. She is survived by two children: Robert Butler and wife Kathy, Judy Bell and her husband Kenny; two sisters: Peggy Wolverton and Barbara Mostaffa, six grandchildren: Scott Bell(Sue), Mike Bell(Gayle), Tim Bell, Angela Bell, Patrick Butler(Lisa), Stephen Butler(Debbie); nine great-grandchildren: Blake, Justin, Savannah Rose, Jackson, Samuel, Sheli, Brittney, Alexis and Peyton. The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff for their care and loving support while Thelma was at Lakeview.
