Theone was born on April 8, 1915 in Greece on the beautiful island of Koumeika in Samos, Greece. She was the seventh of eight children born to her parents Kontantinos and Maroudid Karanikolau Menegas. Their life was beautiful. Her father produced tobacco, oranges, olive oil and tangerines. They were a hard working family growing up in a time of depression. Theone would have liked to be a teacher but her hometown of Samos only had grade schools in 1948. Theone met Theodore Litsos and they were married in 1948. In 1949 they came to Kansas. Theodore passed away in 1973. Later in life she became a seamstress for eleven years.
Theone was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, nephew Alex and husband Theodore. Survivors include her niece Violet Hatziefstathione and loving friends Donna and Allan Henderson, Margaret Polos, Toula Gatzoulis, and Father Nicholas Papadopoulos.
