Theresa (Ciolkowski) Jones, age 75, Olathe, Kan., passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Olathe Medical Center.
Theresa was born at home on Oct. 9, 1932, to Edward and Margaret (Hall) Ciolkowski in Chicago, Ill. She worked with her husband, Tom, in marriage and work life with Dickinson Theatres. She loved her family as they did her. Her grandchildren brought her great pleasure in the latest years of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tom Jones. Survivors include her children, Glen, Betty, Tom, and Ed; grandchildren, Karissa, Bon, Nolan, Zackary, and Skylar; her sister, Joan, her sister, Geri, and her brother-in-law, Mike.
A celebration of her life will be 12 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at D. W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kan. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the chapel.
