Therese (Hoffman) Miller, Age 79, of Overland Park, passed away on September 13, 2017 at Menorah Medical Center.
Therese was born September 19, 1937, in Rockland, Michigan, to John and Matilda Hoffman.
She was a United States Navy veteran.
She was a long time resident of Overland Park enjoying the company of many friends and neighbors.Therese was an avid sports fan following the Jayhawks, Chiefs, Royals and Red Wings. She loved to crochet, bake and host Saturday night family time.
She adored doing anything with her grandchildren - hosting sleepovers, baking donuts, playing card games, going to their sporting and school events or just hanging out with them. They were the joysof her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Miller. Also preceding her were her parents,John and Matilda Hoffman; Son-in-Law, Mike Taylor; Brothers, Jack Hoffman, Bobby Hoffman, DonnieHoffman and Louie Hoffman and Sister, Vonnie Hoffman.
Therese is survived by her children, Maria Miller, Scott (Karen) Miller, Candy (Mark) Lietzow,
Norman (Dawn) Miller, Colleen (Terry) Grandy, Debbie Taylor, Sandy (Jeff) Hill; Grandchildren,
Nicole (Rocky) Reed, Daniel and Emily Miller, Amy and Tyler Lietzow, Jeffrey, Alexandra and
Zachary Miller, Dawn (Rob) Engel, Shawn (Amanda) Grandy, Jenny Taylor, Jason (Courtney) Taylor,Joe and Alex Hill; Great grandchildren, Ayden, Danny, Kaitlyn, Christina, Christopher, Austin,Makenna, Kendall and Abigail; Sisters, Suzanne (Howard) Picotte, Paulette (Paul) Casey, Mary Nooncaster; Brothers, Will Hoffman, Pat (Eileen) Hoffman and Glenn (Diane) Hoffman, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Therese's life will be at 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the
Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210
