Thomas Robert Petroshak, Jr.

Thomas Robert Petroshak, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 12, 1945 to Thomas and Susan (Mitnick) Petroshak and passed away on September 23, 2020 at Advent Hospital, Shawnee Mission, KS.

He served in the USAFSS from 1966 to 1970, with part of that time serving at Korat AFB, Thailand, and ending his career serving at Ft. Meade, Maryland. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he finished his college degree at KU after which he worked for the US Dept. of Labor for about 30 years.

Thomas is survived by his brother, William Petroshak (Paula), nephew,Tyler Petroshak and niece, Stefanie Voth, of Lee's Summit, MO, his good work buddy, Ron Moore (Judy) of St. Louis, MO, and his long-time friend, Ann (Kirk) Sandler of Overland Park, KS.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Monday, October.19, 2020 at 2:30 PM.
