Timothy J. Keith, 54, Overland Park, Kansas passed away at his home on April 4, 2015. He was born on December 21, 1960 in Kenmore, N.D. and moved to the Overland Park area with his family at the age of three. Tim attended East Antioch, Milburn Junior High, graduated from Shawnee Mission North High and vocational-technical school in Beloit, KS, for carpentry and cabinetmaking.
Tim is survived by his mother and father, Melvin and Nancy Keith; sister, Carolyn Keith of Denver, CO; and chosen family, Howard and Debbie Ruben and their children, Zach and Lauren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM, also in the chapel. A private family inurnment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or Bethany Lutheran Foundation, Day School Scholarship Fund, 9101 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66207.
